Michael Dow has been making a name for himself with releases on Armin Van Buuren’s Captivating Sounds, Lee Haslam’s Digital Remedy label and support from all the major players. For his debut release on Propulsion, Michael shows off his tougher side with two superb tech-trance thumpers.

Badlands begins with snappy drums, a throbbing beat and abstract synth layers, as haunting lines are introduced and the dense atmosphere thickens. Massive percolating lines intensify the energy as the track launches from the break into full-on squelching tech-trance madness.

Plasma features more of Michael’s signature squirts and riffs. Layer upon layer of sick sound keeps the energy flowing throughout this steady soundscape.
