5/5 Trance Tune of the Month!

This tune has already been making waves on the world wide DJ circuit as have ‘Jay’s’ previous releases which have gained support from the likes of ‘Christopher Lawrence’, ‘John 00 Fleming’ and ‘Nicholas Bennison’ to name but a few. There are four mixes; the ‘Original,’ the ‘Persequor Remix’ the ‘Prosper Die To River Remix’ and the ‘Prosper Remix.’ The track is aptly named after the fact that the Baltimore based producer is nearly deaf in one ear. Mind you, with the quality of the finished product, you would have never guessed. All the mixes are hard-edged uplifting trance and my choice is the ‘Persequor Remix’ but all are a bit special.

Nicholas Bennison
‘Turbomachinery’
(Propulsion Records)
4/5

Nicholas’ Turbomachinery’ is mounted on a suitably charged frame of pounding psy-trance beats & bass. The psy inclination doesn’t stop there as he ply’s the floor with cavernous, echoing effects, before bringing things to a head with a ripping euphoric mainline. Initially more brooding in tone, John 00 Fleming’s mix opens up into a melodic mesmeriser after the 3rd minute. Finally DJ San & Sebastian’s mix takes things down, just about as deep as they’ll go!
