Since his debut release, “The Stark Blue EP,” Singo has continued to DJ and perform his unique live set throughout his home in Japan and has put his hand to another tough progressive thumper, “Plexi Music,” which will be our first digital only release.
To complement the original are two special remixes, the first by Hook, UG & Limbo Recordings artist, CL McSpadden, whose impressive resume includes remixes for Madonna, Bedrock and Everything But The Girl.
The second mix comes from Source of Gravity's Sterio & McGrath who have found favor in recent years with all the top progressive jocks. Their warm crusiey remix is one to relish in during those late night / early morning sets.

Propulsion records first ever digital release is from Japanese DJ/Producer Singo and comes in the form of a tough as boots peaktime stormer. "Plexi Music" takes it to the extreme with a heavy dose of trancy basslines and techy hat rhythms that pump up the pressure from the onset.Briefly the energy strips back with the addition of some strings, dropping back the beat before powering ahead with sublime synth stabs and underlying pads. Its not for the faint hearted as throughout the track the build is constant with subtle rolls and regimental percussive elements.Damn hot!
The first of two remixes comes in a smoother form of a CL Mc Spadden remix. This Hook&UG artist turns out a take that packs just as much punch yet softens out the trancy side with pulsating, wet bassline and breathing pads that blossom as the track progresses.
Source of Gravity's Sterio&Mc Grath re-hash things with an early hour progressive number, layering atmospheric and organic melodies over a tight percussive mix that at each turn gently rolls on top of itself.Added to that is a string instrumental ,breaking while another melody oozes through before setting on its way again.

Proving that music is truly worldwide now, we are given one of the upcoming progressive jocks from Japan, think along the lines of Osamu M and others. Singo is one of the more forward thinking Japanese and his tough JooF/Christopher Lawrence progressive trance sound fits right in with Nicholas Bennison’s Propulsion records based out of Los Angeles. Propulsion Records has increasingly found a niche in people who love that tough progressive trance sound and the record label has released records from X-Cabs, Descent, Bennison himself and others. Look for another Chris Cowie record shortly as well from Propulsion. To sum it up in a few words – Propulsion does it again with the original being a nasty teeth grinding, earth shattering get in and buckle up progressive trance stormer. In Other words, fucking get in.
