"Two Worlds" is the first ever collaboration by Mike Hiratzka and Justin Scott Dixon (aka Voyager). Both artists have made names for themselves with hugely successful releases releases on Bedrock, Alternative Route, Global Underground, and tracks licensed to compilations by Sasha, John Digweed & Sandra Collins.

The original is a perculating bubbler with a smooth acidline and splintering leads. Thick chords, electric sweeps and other unique effects are the cherries on top of this sleek trance-bented production package. Descent takes the track to a whole new tech-tastic level with shiny drum loops, robotic chatter, big subby basses and haunting pads.

"Bloody belter alert!! Sorry if I'm sounding a bit excited but I can guarantee when you here this you'll be getting out an old sock or using a hanky or something! Most of you will have heard of these two before, so there is no introduction needed! The original mix awesome! Simple as that! Production is as high quality as you'd expect and the rest you can find out yourself because I don't want to ruin it for anyone! The rmx is by another producer who you have all heard of before, Descent. This for me isn't as good as the original but jees-o this is still quality!"

"A strong collaboration of two hyped US producers forms the basis of the latest release on the LA based Propulsion label. The original of “Two Worlds” is a tough and throbbing number, with metallic sounds coupled with searing sweeps similar to the Fluid Recordings heyday. Justin Scott Dixon has been quite quiet in recent times, but with this release and two tracks on Sandra Collins CD, we could be witnessing a comeback from the man behind the Voyager productions of yesteryear. Mike Hiratzka has been very busy of late with releases on the likes of Alternative Route in the last few months. On the flip you have another strong mix, this time from Descent. They give the original a decent re-rub, and this mix is on par with the original. More top class progressive house music from Propulsion."

"Two great minds come together for their first time and create a heavy, twisted, growling track called 'Two Worlds'. Mike Hiratzka & Justin Scott Dixon have been creating music for many years belting out some fine progressive tunes, breakbeats and even some old school electro. Both are favorites amongst DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed and Sandra Collins, and have had their tunes have been licensed to various compilations. For their debut single they create a huge trance based progressive stormer with loads of mechanical sounds, twisted and sweeping synths, and an infectious bassline. 'Descent' works the track into a darker techy robotic world, with just enough funk to get your body moving.

The 'Original Mix' is a fierce acid lined hard progressive tune with groovy bass, sweeping and swirling synths and tons of punch. Heavy mechanical drums start the tune off while a sweeping synth drops us into a thick and growly bassline. Random sounds filter in and out in the background, while techy stabs play into the drums and keep the tune rolling right into another drop. Anthemic synths take way and build into the main riff that takes the song off once again. This is a power tune with an old trance idea that works so well on the floor.

'Descent' reworks 'Two Worlds' into a robotic creepy edged track. Mechanical drums start in with a nice arpeggiated techy rhythm that fills the background perfectly. Dark stabs cut into the ever-changing drums, while the sweeps are reworked into shorter segments. Random sounds move in and out creating a nice hook inside a watery reverbed atmosphere. Dropping into a break, the synths grow and the main anthemic riff rolls in on a lighter note and twists and turns till the end.

Made for the headstrong and dancefloors all over the world, this is the first heavy tune we've seen from these two in a while, and I sure hope it's not the last. The sounds are intriguing and with their production skills combined, there's no telling what damage they will end up doing."
